Sat & Sun July 11-12 weekend - workouts!

Many are probably posting on the Virtual Challenge Roth for Ronbo thread, but I thought I'd get this going.

In the early morning:
Went to masters swim instead because I wanted to swim with other people. Pool workout so, you know, lots of kicking. Derp! 3575 yards...there was some confusion during the end of the last set and we did 75 instead of 125.

In the early afternoon:
90 minutes on the Kickr riding TR "glassy -2" (4x15min at 65-80% FTP, 5min recoveries)...more heat acclimation as the room where I have the trainers set up is steaming hot and I got super sweaty.

50 mile ride w/DH yesterday - longest to date and while I was dreading getting out there, it actually turned out much better than anticipated...fairly hilly route into CT from our house...but lots of shade so that helped. Wheels did start to come off around mile 42, but was able to make it home ok and into the lake I went!

Short run today before going to the Minion Movie w/my daughter.

8 miles this morning fighting with my mojo. Only two runs for the week, that's not going to fly if I want to go longer...

Nice riding, everyone!
Yoshi...I'm gonna get back to the trails soon...
Sparty...you'll move past this phase...give yourself a hug and know that the mojo will come back around

Double brick complete!
46 mile ride - 5 mile run - 34 mile ride - 2.5 mile run
Did much of it on a flat/false flat paved rail trail so I made it a priority to spend a lot of time on the aero bars. Vineman is a flatter course than IMMT, although probably not as flat as FullRev Cedar Point, so the minimal coasting afforded by being on the trail was exactly what I was after.
Oooof!
Hot as Satan's balls out there!

Yo all,

big weekend for me, Greylock Century and 17 miles on Sunday. Did the Greylock in 7:26 Total time, 6:59 of riding. In 2013, I did the ride in 8:52 of riding time and 7:34 of moving time. It was a bit cooler this year, but still, I didn't stop more than I had to. I'm very happy with the day and was able to do my brick and my long run on Sunday. Last time, I was barely able to move for several days!

Rode 54 hard on Saturday for avg pace of 17 mph. Woot!
Ran12 with N1 on Sunday. Hot but not terribly humid. Got it done and was thankful for cooling towel that oddly enough actually worked.

I had several comments about others workouts but lost them, grrrrr.

Date day Sunday. 2.AZ (two years after zombie) at Purple Rose Theatre (funded by Jeff Daniels ). And he was there and said hi to us first from the backyard of the theatre! Then it's our thing to do hit the Potowatami trails afterwards! Nice singletrack ride (1.5hrs) FIB great foods and beer!
