Tuesday - Bread Thread and other stuff

50 min on elliptical. Leg strength work. Going to gym at lunch to likely walk or something else with low impact. Bursitis in R hip is killing me.

What's new for my KR peeps? Favorite part of Thanksgiving?

Mine is that the entire day is dedicated to being thankful and is not surrounded by other things.

Usual commute for me. Surprisingly warm today. Got to make sure I'm back home and voting by 7 ... Usually roll home around 6:30, so may be tight... Sort of enjoying the full dark commute ... things seem much stiller somehow ...

Best part of Thanksgiving this year will be having the lad home.

40 min on stair stepper at lunch at the gym.

Heading home at a reasonable time to vote as well.

Good afternoon, TEAM LIT!

Off to vote right after I type here...

Julie: Yeah, when racing a marathon (as opposed to running to complete) you generate so much more heat and thus need so much less on the body to keep warm. You just hope you don't slow down too much because then you'll get really cold!

Great questions, MQ...

What's new? Well, I just found out that Heather and I cleared our final big hurdle in moving into our dream home. Although there are still a few smaller hurdles, we can finally FINALLY start getting excited (and packing in full) about the move!

Favorite thing about Thanksgiving? I love being home with friends and family coming over to our house, as we host every year, drinking good beers while watching football, eating my favorite meal of the year, and then capping it off later at night by visiting or being visited by our very own LeftRightRepeat. Family and friends make it warm.

Double for me today...

5.65 mile run early this morning with 3 others.

Then at noon...

5 mile tempo run. Still slow. Too many leg strengthening exercises. Slowing me down. I'm enjoying them so unlikely to stop them.

Great day, gang!

Congrats Thor! So excited for you guys!

Geo: Be careful in the dark (said in the best Mother tone I have )

Started P90X3 today. Love TH. Synergistics, strength workout. 5 miles walking. Left knee a little sore but not too bad.

MQ: Sorry the hip is bugging you! **** injuries!

My favorite part of TG? I can't pick one, so here are my faves: Starting the day with my running buddies at the Turkey trot and a bloody mary at the Rover at 9:30 AM. Having my family and friends coming to the house to be merry and enjoy. Annual tradition of kicking back on the couch and watching Christmas Vacation Thanksgiving night (the official start of the holidays!)

OMG Julie, wewatch Christmas vacation on Thanksgiving night too! How weird is that? That also happens to be my favorite part of the whole day.... Bring on Christmas!

Been really sick since last week. Hoping to get to and survive work tomorrow. I need to get in there before leaving later this week for a conference in Vegas.

Healthy and happy thoughts all!!!

MQ - hips are overrated...
Tammy - hope you're feeling better soon!

Fave part of TG: stuffing. I love stuffing.

1.5 mi on the TM run/walk/run with a 2:1 ratio at low speeds. Felt about 80%. Also went out and bought a pair of 10lb weights and used them a bit. My upper body is ridiculously weak. Working on figuring out why some days my hip works and some days it doesn't.
