Wednesday, Oct 8 - workouts!

Last day working in Japan! I still wake up around 5am... So operating less than ideal amount of sleep every day. This morning I had enough energy to get out and run. I'm near Nagoya and ran to/around the Nagoya castle. Wished I have had a camera with me. Gorgeous view with a beautiful blue sky behind the castle.
1hr run.
2 more meetings and I'm free!

Enjoy the hump day. Stay ahead of the time!

Sparty- What the heck woman????

I'm needing to get back at training and taking care of myself. My job has wiped me out and well, it's just time to reclaim my sanity. Now if I could just get my ass out of bed in the morning to get it done. Sigh...
I am running this afternoon so that is something to look forward to!

Happy Hump Day

For those curious about a plan going forward...
In the next 6 weeks I have appts with my family doc, 2 different endocrinologists and my obgyn (who rocks). This means lots of bloodwork and hopefully some answers. My general suspicion is that my thyroid is on the fritz and the pneumonia treatment in combination with my autoimmune disorder left me susceptible to the current nonsense. I admit to being genuinely concerned about my health.

Sparty: autoimmune? I had no idea. That can throw everything off so easily. Ugh and feel better.

4 miles with Kitty and Hubster this morning. A zippy 9:34 or 9:39 pace. Felt good though and not like we were forcing it. Elliptical tomorrow then off to the airport.

MQ - autoimmune disorder sounds so fatalistic...I have Hashimoto's which is in fact an autoimmune disorder of the thyroid. I've had it a long time, but I think this a significant contributor to my health these last couple of months.

Have a GREAT time in Chicago! My little boy tells me on a daily basis that when he grows up he wants to live in Chicago.

I'm so sorry Sparty, hope your team of docs can get a plan in place for you to feel better.

Thor, congrats on selling the house!

4 mile run this evening, with 6x100m strides. Ended with 10 burpees and 10 sit ups. Trying to do those 2-3x a week since no more iron strength until after the marathon.
