A big thanks to Mark and Helena for getting this taken care of so quickly. I'm not sure I've ever seen such responsiveness... both to emails, and to getting a fix in place. THANKS!

The post-chemo weekend (last weekend) was much easier than usual, but I guess I was destined to make up for that with a week that was a little tough. Rough mornings followed by very fatigued days. I'm not sure what's on deck for me today beyond a boatload of errands. Oh, that and transforming 100 used tennis balls into something more juggling friendly. My boss thought it would be good to have a company-wide juggling break/lesson for my last day. Nice idea, but it makes for a lot of balls.

Will have to find time for at least the fit ball stretch-and-light-lift routine.

TASM - hang in there!
julie - congrats on your race

Quick weekend recap:
Sat: 80 miles on the IML course. Really focused on nailing my nutrition and sticking to my strategy for the hills
Sun: 60 mile ride + 1 hour run. I thought the run would suck, but the legs responded really well. The last 30 minutes of the ride nearly killed me. I wanted OFF that bike. Got home and immediately got into an ice bath.

Up next? TAPER! TAPER! TAPER!

I wondered if something was amiss. It was slower than usual.

First of my long runs today. I normally consider 2.5hr the transition to truly long run territory. Put in 18 miles, with most it on MTB trails. Went through 3 bottles of water. A little muggy, but not bad in the shade.

Woo-hoo! Sounds like a fun last day, Barb...

51 mile solo beach ride for me (hi 17s/1. Rolled out of bed yesterday for the group ride - and it was sprinkling, so just rolled back into bed (wimp). Not sure if they went, because the day ended up being fairly dry. Anyhoo ... made up for it with today's ride.

Friday was 30 mile commute (regular 20 in; cut the return trip to 10 miles as I left work late to wait out T-storms).

3 1/2 hours driving with DD.... Got to get her 40 practice hours in....

Nice to be back

Oh - and Julie - signed up for the Seacoast Century (if you decide you're doing part of it).

Geo.

TASM - sounds like you took care of kicking somebody's rear end at the KR website. Thx! It was a bit frustrating. You feel better soon!
1T - yay to the taper! Great brick this weekend!
Jk - 2.5hrs on Mtb... You hardcore!
Geo - nice ride! Your DD is the last one to get a license, right? Woohoo!

Great weekend all around.
Fri - 40 miles dirt road ride with DH including a stop at cafe for coffee and baked goods FIB blood donation #2 this year. FIB 3.5 hr drive to the Stratford Shakespeare festival with DD. Saw 'Hay Fever'. Great!
Sat - 30min walk - wanted to run but the ride/blood donation really wiped me out. Saw Midnight Summer's Dream and Crazy For You. Triple thumbs up!
Sun - 3.5 hrs drove home, with a stop at immigration office (nexus card violation, woops). Relaxing 2000m swim at an outdoor pool. Ahhhhh, beautiful.
