My swim "training" consisted of (1) 30 minute swim. Clearly I was not caring as it is only .25 mile and I figured I can suck that up. Well, I did SUCK it up. The swim was not as comfortable as I would normally like but I lived thru it. Note: I have a Sproly (cross between sprint and oly) in 2 weeks. The swim is .4mile and I do plan on swimming a few times to be um...........better prepared.

LOVED the bike!!! As always. Rocked it. Pissed I got stuck behind a car which probably cost me close to a minute. Got passed only 3X. By 2 guys and 1 chick that I passed later, so count that as only twice. Chicked 8 guys. Passed tons of people in my swim wave that beat me....take that! LMAO. Got back to transition and not many bikes there, nice!

Was stoked about my run!!! Started as usual feeling heavy and run devil was constantly suggesting that I just walk. Tri devil was saying we are not doing the Sproly in 2 weeks, tris suck and why do I do this to myself? Had a goal of 1:15 for race and once I finished mile 1 and saw I was going to kill it, I ignored run and tri devil and hit the hammer. Cross country boy passed me with .2 to go, oh well!
Woohooo, your basic fitness level spoke loudly here! Great to hear you surprised yourself! Nie bike leg, chicking 8 guys! Awesome! Tell the Tri devil you are going to kick some serious rear-end at the Sproly!
Great job Julie!! Awesome that you had such a good race, especially on limited swim training. That shows how strong you are since the swim would affect the other 2 legs even more by not being trained for it. Tell tri devil to shove it because I can't wait to see how you do on your next race!
