Happy November! Yikes...

I actually got out of bed this am and made it to 5:30 Masters class. Difficult workout of 25m repeats on a set sendoff and had to use fins the entire time to keep up but I did it and it was fun.  2300m total.

20min on the elliptical at the Y followed by arm weights. Kept the cardio at no resistance. No pain during and no real pain to speak of after. I'm optimistic that a month from now I'll get cleared to try running. Regardless I WILL be stronger!

Happy Friday and happ November all!

November 1st!  Yay... the month I've been waiting to get to for 9 whole months.  The longest 9 months of my life.

Today, run and weights await me.

KSurp:  Happy Dance!

Tammy:  When are they coming home?

Alicia:  Keep being patient and working, it's paying off for sure!

Me:  3 mile walk.......day of rest.  Heading to Beantown tonight for a Wedding celebration with my friend and her fiance, nice excuse for a date night on the town with my hubby.  Yes, that is my idea of taper!  LOL

Julie, I'll send you a message on FB.  I can't put his travel dates on a public forum for safety/security reasons.  :)

Thor...still streakin'!

Yay, Tammy!

MOJO, Julie!

Keep at it, Sparty!

Nice swim, ksurp!

Did my PT homework this morning & day 1 of a plank challenge.

Squeezed in a 3.2 mile run after the dog walk this evening.  It meant I ate late, but it was worth it to get out.

Survived my first "normal" work week since I ended up in the hospital in March. I've been back to 40 hour weeks since September, but this is the first week with only Tuesday working from home. One day at home has always been useful sure a lot of my work is writing, and an open studio isn't great for that.

The little bits of jogging yesterday left me extra wiped out. So just Normatec and a tiny bit of playing with the new TRX system that just arrived. While I don't need any more workout gear, the idea of a system where you are hanging onto something is extra appealing with the balance issues from lack of feeling. Plus, new gear is an energizing treat. smile.gif

I stayed home from work feeling crappy and ended up working a bit from the couch anyway. I did get on the bike trainer and felt better after a good sweat.
