45 min Z3 run...5.35 miles total. Hot and humid, even at 4:30 am. Glad I got my run in early today. Have a great day!

Still plugging away here.  Fishbowl this morning.  50's and 100's with SAD, kick and paddles mixed in.  Smacked lane divider again.  Hard.  Still waiting to see if I'll lose my thumb nail from last weeks encounter.

I raced this past weekend, knocking 7mins off my time from two weeks ago.  Teammates had posted even times, so I must be doing something right.  Although I had a super sucky run.  80*, full sun and no air moving.  Impossible to get anything going.

5 days off from training and I am whipped!  Did some mad yard work, darn near a summer's worth in those 5 days.  Ready to resume training today for some rest.  :)  Easy 3 mile run planned after work, some sort of swim workout this evening.

Bike commute - 40+ on the day. Apparently 97 outside now - guess I got my warmth. Ride in was mid-18s ... pleasant enough. Ride back will be leisurely, I suspect :)

Hey reg - told you the heat was on the way!

Early 5 miler, ez pace this morning followed by boot camp class.  I was sweating buckets in the class but I'm really starting to see how much it is helping my running.

Longest day of the year and I am sad - I love my 5 AM runs where I have daylight from almost the start.

Have a great day.

65 minutes on the trainer today for me.  Strength work tonight after work.  Not much else to report.

Got crazy-busy here, so time to catch up...

Tuesday I: 5.65 mile run early in the morning with Andyman. We blazed the course faster than we have ever before. Social run but on the fast side. Andyman knew we were running faster than normal, and with a half mile remaining he picked up pace to bring it home. Nice job to him.

Tuesday II: 8.5 mile tempo run at noon on a flat, fast bike path in 50 minutes. Dialed in tempo pace and nailed it from there. Hit race pace several times. Legs just wanted to go!

Wednesday: 11.5 mile solo trail run early in the muggy morning. Did two loops, once forward and once backwards. Got lost on the backwards section. Total run was roughly 1:40.

8 mile ride from my house to a club race.  Then another 5k in the HEAT!! felt great through 2.5 at that point the heat just totally sapped my legs. I was moving well, just mostly done with the HARD push.
