That is some serious carb loading!

Dunno what is for dinner. Salmon with rice and some veggie sounds good.

Chocolate poptarts and a can of Coke would have my heart popping out of my chest! I can't do sugar dumps like that anymore.

Chili and broccoli... looking for jet power?!

Lasagna casserole here. Son1 and I have a ride this afternoon so I'll put the casserole in the slow cooker before we leave.

Made Indian food last night, going to have the leftovers tonight. Chana Masala, chicken korma, basmati rice.

slow and steady - can you post some of your recipes? I LOVE chicken korma!

I'm going to try Cauliflower Potato Pie from the Moosewood Cookbook, I happened to have everything onhand, so why not? I've started thinking about eating more vegetarian in an effort to save a little money.

Meh, I eat so many beans and cruciferous veggies my digestive system just laughs at such things anymore. My DD however...

I have to admit to cheating with the chicken korma....I use a jarred sauce. The grocery store where I do most of my shopping has an excellent ethnic foods section and I get all kinds of really good stuff there, like the sauce for my chicken korma and the dry spice mix for the chana masala.

it's the only thing that keeps me awake during class yet has enough of a crash that by the time I get home I can fall asleep instantly. After 4 years of night school I've perfected the buzz and crash method.
