Chicken with 40 Cloves of Garlic?

Or brine them in orange juice/kosher salt/rosemary, steam, then sear in a cast iron skillet. This is the recipe I usually use as a guideline for this application: http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/a...ipe/index.html

You can use the leftover fat in the pan to wilt some spinach or greens.

It's son3's birthday. He wants a BBQ. Hamburgers, porkburgers, baked beans, potato salad, and chips. Oh, and a chocolate layer cake.

pork loins were on sale at the store today, so roast pork with maybe sweet potatoes and spinach or roasted tomatoes...(not sure about that yet)

4BM- Happy birthday to your son!

The cake sounds wonderful, 4BM. It's so cold and dreary here today all I can think about is carbs!

Leftover hoppin' john and steamed collard greens at our house.

That sounds good! Next time though, I don't have the time or inclination to try something new today. I'll just throw them in the oven.
