So here is how our bikes currently look.

That pile is the airshipment (Luftfracht) allowance for our upcoming move. I guess you can tell where our priorities are.

I hope it all fits in the crate and I hope it only takes a week or so to get to America. And I hope I can find all the pieces....

Oh, and you can clearly see Michele's yellow ducky bell. The people jump out of her way when he quacks.

So, the bikes are loaded. As is normal in these cases, I did way too much work. They showed up with a box the siye of a Jeep Wrangler. There was so much room, I was running around grabbing boxes of clothes that were meant for the see shipment just to fill it. I could have definitely fit the bikes 100% put together in there. Shoot I could have thrown in our other two bikes as well. Oh well, forced maintenance is always good.

As to a LIT meet up in the Michigan area? Count me in.

Sparty, all help is appreciated!

-Jim

OK, greetings from the greater Detroit area. Too much chaos to post much right now.

Been out for a single run here so far. Lots of concrete, my poor knees.

Who knows when the bikes will show up. Currently scheduled for around 11 Aug. That is not good.

Oh well, will try to catch up on some of racing going on.

Welcome back to this side of the pond. Good luck getting used to life without Haribo, bakeries, broetchen, Fruehstueck, and all the other wacky things that make Germany a fun place to live. Hope the bike arrives soon.

And Charlotte too...Not so much for the OWS, but I'll meet you all for a ride and/or run after the swim...I'll just go in and paddle around in my inefficient "looks like she's having a fit" style in the shallows.

Sounds good. OWS is always a good idea. We live in the NW corner of Sterling Heights.
