Do you find you have to keep your bikes separated to keep them from fighting? I was walking past the garage the other day and heard my tri-bike fighting with my mountain bike about whether I should be shaving my legs or not. It doesn't help that my mountain bike has been feeling very neglected this year.

What do the rest of you do? I tell ya, it's almost as bad as a couple of kids.

Err....all I hear is Buster whining to Bellatrix that he's jealous of her playtime. My other bike is chained up in the soundproof basement room. We don't talk about it.

Shave one leg and not the other. Make both bikes happy.

Or shave the insides but not the outsides, or shave the outsides but not the insides?

Matt--I think you need to take the upper hand on this issue and wade into the fray with a pair of Vice Grip brand locking pliers and a large can of Gunk Engine Brite, my bikes hate it when they see me coming with those in hand, especially if the air compressor is running and I've got a cold 16oz Genny on the workbench. Bikes stand up and salute when you reach into the toolbox and come out with a 12 inch crescent wrench or pneumatic air chisel, they aren't used to being talked to that way.

If they give you any more slack, break out the pressure washer on 'em.

Works on the kids, don't see why it wouldn't work for the bikes.

Random bump, don't ask me why. Only a few years old. And not useful.
