While flipping channels this morning, I came across the women's olympic trials on MSNBC... only the second half. Besides the fact that I didn't understand how they pick the qualifiers... It was impressive to see the transition times. I think most of them did T2 in 12-15 seconds. I freaked out DW because I rewinded 6-7 times to watch it over and over, just to make sure they're not skipping something... I was like... when did they put shoes on? When did they take helmets off? It was astounding.

Same reaction here when I used to watch the ITU races on OLN. It gives you a good visualization, though, of something to shoot for.

ITU races are something. I don't think I'd have the cojones for draft-legal races.

I watched it today. always inspiring.

maybe one day I'll learn how to do the flying mount / dismount on and off my bike. I'm too afraid of making a fool of myself and falling. it might 30 seconds off of each transition.
