Welcome to our newest forum! I thought I'd start the first "Block Party"!

I'm in Cypress Texas (Houston Metro)... Just moved from Iowa.. who else is from the great state of Texas?

saw a bumper sticker the other day - "I wasn't born in Texas, but I got here as quickly as I could"

I'm in San Antonio!

Lived in Houston for about 10 or so years. The pollution there killed my sinuses!

Welcome home!!!

I've now been in Houston for 4 months - FINALLY have my wife here and we've just moved into our new home - will be busy for a while getting that set up, but once done, we're gonna have to put together a Texas Outing!

Howdy all...joined Kick! way back in September '99 as Brian in Fort Worth before becoming TheRunningWolf. Good to see ya'll again for sure!! I'm still in Fort Worth (hey Yar!) and after running 10 marathons (SLOW) from 2000-2003 I pretty much stopped running unti June of '07. Of course I ran here and there but VERY little. Only lasted 3 or so weeks back in June but then "started" yet again the Monday of Thanksgiving week '07. Starting back VERY slowly and got 5 weeks in until December 24th when I could tell I was getting sick. Fought the "crud" for what seemed like forever and finally got back out there yesterday afternoon after 8 days of doing no running at all. Haven't been active on any forum in a long time but "The Merge" was more than I could take--lol Good to see some familiar faces here...Have a good one...Brian aka TheRunningWolf

Howdy y'all! Well, we know where I am, obviously, but to be more specific, it's NW Houston. For the Houstonians, I'm just north of Jersey Village. I use the JV track sometimes, when I get tired of running on concrete. Wish there was a nice mulch or gravel trail nearby. Thanks for starting this thread, satfix. We're practically neighbors!
