I'll be attending three Christmas parties today and will make it a point to eat something healthy that I haven't tried before at at least one of them!

I tried adzuki beans. They taste like cardboard right out of the can, but smothered in curry seasonings with rice, lentils and veggies they were tolerable. Not my favorite though.

Soy yogurt. Like tofu with probiotics. I think it would be good as a base for dressing. It needs some dressing up to be yummy.

Ask your doctor if getting off your ass is right for you.

I tried Kefir. It's a yoghurt-like drink, though it's made from a completely different starter. Kefir has lots of pro-biotic bacteria that is supposed to be very good for your digestion.

It's tasty: not as sweet as yoghurt, and with a tart, almost sour taste. I tried the Trader Joe's strawberry Kefir. I'm going to stick with it.
