This is something I really need to do. I hate to admit that I haven't been in since my last check up after my dd was born. 6 years ago.

What if I get regular checkups anyway, and already had mine this year?

I actually already have an appt. set up for Dec. 28. (I have to do it months ahead, since my dr. is so busy). Does this count?

I had one in June, in "celebration" of turning 40 - so I'll probably skip this one.

I also had one recently, since I just had a kid.

Ask your doctor if getting off your ass is right for you.

Done. Jan. 15
I haven't been in several years and actually just received a gentle reminder notice from my doctor. . . .

I tried to call twice today... but couldn't get through. If I make the appointment tomorrow, can I still get points.

Jan 15 for me too...and I have to tell them my aunt just had a mastectomy including lymph nodes and now faces chemo, first in our family. Hopefully it will be no big deal. If we ever have girls, it will suck for them though--now we have it on both sides--DH's mom is stage 4 and now this .

Yep - that's what I already did myself about a month ago or so. Heard something I thought I'd never hear in my lifetime - the doc told me I really need to stop losing the weight

Ouch.
I'll hold your hand if you hold mine on the day.
My mom and her twin sister both as well.
That's kinda why I haven't been going. . . .

Well, I thought I'd have to skip this one, because I've already had my two annual checkups (reg and gyn) this year but things happen and I need another so I made a appointment for

DECEMBER 17.

Depending on the Dr., they might not even care. My wife has had three grandparents die from breast cancer (yes, one was male), as well as several aunts and cousins. But because none of them are a first-degree relation (parent, child, or sibling), according to her doc, it does not matter.

She found a new doc.
