Thanks, Lisa!

I guess I should have pointed out that the Christmas trip is scheduled to be about 3 days at my brothers. One meal I can wing, but thats going to be about 6 or 8.

I guess I need to get the nerve up and tell them I'll take care of my own meals.

FMT- You may want to volunteer to help with some of the cooking/meal planning? I'm vegetarian and I've found this is the solution to making sure I have something I know I can eat.

And like Lisa said, budget in for some of the meals. You will probably have to give in and eat things you wouldn't normally, but portion size is often the main culprit to gaining versus the food (unless you're talking about fried chicken and biscuits with gravy! )
Also, getting up a bit earlier to go for a run around the area (which I always love running in new locations!) or a walk after dinner or something will help some. With a walk, you could even get others involved. Go look at the Christmas/New Year's decorations? Play with the nieces/nephews at the park? You see where I'm going with this!

Good luck!

My goals:

*watch portions- enjoy, but not overindulge!
*continue to follow my new HM plan
*work in weight training again- 2x/wk
*cross train 1x/wk

*I should also track my food again, but wow is that a lot of effort! We'll see..........

I have a weight loss goal for the next 4 weeks. Baisically it will consist of eating no sugar... more veges and protein, and no fast food at all.

Also to get back into exercising on a regular basis again. Not sure what kind at this point, but just some kind of cardio.

I KNOW I can do what I have to do.... its just getting there.....

Sounds like some good goals everyone!
