Good luck on your marathon KS

Sorry you didn't have a better race Heme. Even a half marathon is a long way when it is not your day.

I jogged 5 miles easy last night to give me a 20 mile day. Today I ran another 5 miles on a nearby xc course. Going for a big mileage week and then back to a bunch of 2 milers to recover.

Hi All! Been doing a few runs after work here and there. Running a local 10K on Saturday and David is going to run the 5K. His motivation right now is he has to complete 8 of our local running club sponsored races to be eligible for Runner of the Year trophy, so he still has 2 more to complete this year. In his age group, he has the most points, so is a shoe-in for this award as long as he completes 2 more races this year. Hey, whatever it takes! He is going to run with me for that first 1.5 miles until he has to turn around. just taking it easy and getting his points is all he wants.

~Tammy~

Hi Tammy

I ran 5 miles Tuesday on the treadmill and 8 hilly miles Wednesday. My hips and back muscles are screaming at me so I ran 2 really easy miles today and decided not to go to a 15k on Saturday. It's also only going to be about 30° and I don't like to run in cold weather. I'll end my streak of racing 32 weeks in a row. Planning on two more easy days and then 18 miles on the treadmill sunday. That will be 4 weeks out from my marathon.

70° compared to 30° makes up for it!
