9.28 Weekend catch all thread

Morning all. Trust you are having a good weekend.

Saturday was to be 12 miles and hopeful for rain. It rained all the way to the run and then stopped. Then started to sprinkle and rain the rest of the day after the run. Ended up running 13 good strong miles; so I have a little hope to be able to run the marathon next Sunday. Looks like temps just below 50 at the start and high of only 75 for the day. 75 is our normal low; so that will be good.

What's up?

Conditions sound perfect, KS

Yesterday was the 4th running of Chase the Coyote trail race. I think I was the oldest woman running the 14K. There were a few over 60 doing the 5K. After two hard climbs up the Niagara Escarpment cliffs, the race ended with a mile easy descent on a rooty, windy path, followed by around 2 miles of flat, easy double track thru the valley between the bluffs, so it was a nice solid progression run to the finish...... leaving two much younger women in my dust.

With one of the over 50 gals taking a spot in the overall Masters placings, I snagged 2nd in the AG.
