run. May be like this until tonight. Might be a rest day. Ok since
RIP - must be a big town u live in. I lived in a small
town for 5 yrs. advantages and dis. CC is going
to become Ainu Houston in next 10 yrs due to
the oil. Not happy about that much growth.
Anxious for Heme to get over taper madness
and into her race.
Hope Fred is ok. I'd live to have him on my relay team.
We're getting the same weather, KS, just a wee bit cooler.
Was grateful that this morning was a scheduled spin class.
Mystery solved for my weird chest tightness and heartburny feeling. I was seeing my doctor today to get a prescription renewed and ran the symptoms by her. It's not heartburn, cardiac, or taper crazies....... apparently it's allergies that all sorts of people are getting this spring. The snow left so late and we got so little rain before it was warm enough to spend a lot of time outdoors that many of us are getting a huge hit of the under-snow moulds that are normally gone by now. And they are irritating the dickens out over everyone's airways. Makes sense that this started after running for 6 hours on one of the first decent days of the year. A little Aleve, a little Reactine and we'll be as good a new.....
Hi, Ksrunr; h'llo, Heme.
No rain here yet; in fact a perfectly gorgeous running day -- low 50s and cloudy.
I had the day off from work and was able to stretch my legs a bit. Got in a strong seven-mile effort on the local rail trail.
Good runs, all
Nice run Baba
We have a little over 3,000 people in town. We're surrounded by towns with 12,000 to 50,000 people within a half hour and it's an hour to Columbus.
Good that you found out the cause Heme. I run into all kinds of stuff remodeling houses and sometimes it takes a day or two to get over.
I've been right on that line of hard training and the humidity and a lot of work tipped me over the edge a little today. The plan was 90 minutes easy and call it 10 miles but I made it 54 minutes and called it a day. Going to run twice tomorrow. As it gets hotter, it may be better to break up the runs a little.
Speaking of weather, it was mid 80s and humid today. I was listening to the Indians/Toronto baseball game and they said it never got out of the 50s in Toronto.
That's odd. My car thermometer said it was mid 60's when I went home yesterday. We'll get to 68 today.
