RIP - Impressive body of work this summer.  Congrats.

TW - tomorrow is the big day.  Did you remember?  :)

My hip hurt like crazy most of yesterday and probably from the 8k XC race on Friday night.  I was pretty worried about it last night but it felt a little better this morning and once warmed up felt ok on the run.  Think I just dodged a bullet.   It was only 69 degrees with low humidity (for us at 74 percent) so if was a relatively comfortable run.   Ran first mile in high 10 something to last mile at 7:50.

Temp range for next Sunday race now is 42 to 55 degrees.   It will be heaven for sure.

carry on

Good Luck on the PT TW

You will know after a handful of visits if it is helping..

KS,  I'm always amazed if NOTHING hurts after a race.  I have just come to expect something

hurting for a couple days.

Okay, so it's been a thousand years since I posted...I had quit running for about 3 years due to a new job...gained a lot of weight in the process...started running again Sept.2nd, ran 26 days in Sept for a total of 91 miles and have already lost over 15 pounds.

Ran 4 miles today and hoping for more of the same tomorrow...Good to see you posting TW.

Hi, Gordon.  GL, TW.  Fingers crossed, ksrunr.  I did 2 M on the TM this morning, then weight machines.  This evening was one of our almost-monthly birthday pub crawls.   Let's see, as I recall, it was a Blue Moon Belgian white, then a Big Sky IPA, then a Dos Equis (with Mexican dinner). Oh, and 5 M getting from pub to pub.
