0 miles and 0 guilt. I ran 4 days in a row last week, 5 days in total, and made it past 20 miles. No foot pain, no pelvis pain, nuthin'! So I can luxuriate in my yoga-only rest day today.

But then again, I don't have a marathon in a week... uhoh2.gif

Actually, I am going to be in Boston at the end of the week, going to visit colleges with DS for a couple days. Driving up Wednesday, returning home Saturday night, so unfortunately I won't be able to join in on the festivities at Robin's. sad.gif

Carry on, folks!

Please support me in the fight against breast cancer.

Neat bike ride today -- I'm in the Detroit area, and asked Rochrunner for a recommendation -- he told me about a paved [rail to] trail that goes and goes and goes... so I did 22 miles (first time in 25 years or so). Hats off to Roch, who is part of the team that made this trail happen!icon_salut.gif (and thank you for the tip.)

Hey all! Just poppin' in to check on the taper madness quotient. All you Boston folks seem remarkably calm. Will try to get caught up on the treads. Been a bit swamped on multiple fronts - work, home, etc. Allergies have been driving me nuts. Think I pulled an ab muscle sneezing this afternoon. Feet are doing better - ran a little Fri & Sat. Knees have been complaining a little but otherwise A-OK. Thanks for the kind words on my RR. Off to look for tales of running in the rain and colt & filly pics...and maybe figure out why Econo is just ducky.

oh, 35 for me....minutes on the bike trainer that is!

Cheers!

Nice Springsteen reference Glidegal!

I'm in DC, so I did a quick lap around the Jefferson Memorial. 7 miles @ 7:40/mi. It rained, just like home.

Here's a minor factoid from my race weekend...when we returned the rental car, the three folks in the car had collectively put 178 more miles on our shoes than we had on the car.

Just a quick post of my run...about 7.25 mi. with 3.38 of that threshold/HMP, 2x15 min. with a 3-minute recovery jog.

legislatorduck-- hah, just like home, my foot. It rained, hailed, rainbowed, rained and sleeted again and tonight there is a winter weather warning for snow on the Santiam Pass. did you go and roll an Easter Egg?
I agree, the Boston bound are quite reserved... practicing their best Puritan.

Probably the most critical part of training -rest, eh Butterfly?
Pete, Boston belongs to you. Enjoy

1:30 in the pool, instructor worked us ragged to The Best of the Village People
Butt only hurts when I set foot to solid ground, and even then, not as much.
Still, I may have to explore other planetary running options.
