. . . that I forget that I already told you something
. . . sometimes take the wrong path on a well-known trail

Do you have any quirks???

I have a habit of locking doors and then forgetting and checking and then unlocking them so I can lock them again.

Funny thread. Early Saturday morning while in a car with 5 other people on our way to the 50K I had a Rodney Dangerfield moment. I said to the group "runners are weird. You guys are OK, but runners are weird."

Not sure if this is a quirk, but I really like old stuff: appliances (i.e. my 70+ year old popcorn maker), vintage clothes and eyeglasses, cast iron/enamel sinks and tubs and kitchen drain boards, lamps and light fixtures, furniture, record players, old houses, cars.

I almost always run with a hankie. I have several vintage ones but save those for pockets (also good when you tire of washing Kleenex in the machine).

Awaiting the comeback of velour jumpsuit couture.

how do you peel an orange to look like an elephant?

I peel ALL the skin off every section of orange. That's why I rarely eat oranges. It ends up looking like a science dissection experiment. Easier to open up a can of mandarin oranges when I get a craving.

When I eat corn on the cob - I eat it one row at a time, using my bottom teeth to get the entire kernel out of the cob. That's one CLEAN cob when I'm done.
