I'm up early because my brain decided to start thinking about code logic and I can't get back to sleep. Hopefully this is a sign of a very productive work day ahead!

Tomorrow I'm volunteering at the Circular Logic Marathon. ( course is a 1 mile loop). This is the second year for the race http://www.circularlogicmarathon.com/?m=1

Don't believe everything you think

Morning!  Pissed at my sleepy-ass self for turning off my alarm and missing bridges run  rolleyes.gifmad.gif   I def needed the sleep but I def needed that quiet morning time w/friends too.   I guess I'll just drown myself in college basketball later to make up for it.  ha!

Keeping (((Kris & Moonie's BIL))) in my thoughts

3-0 is a good start.  :)

Yesterday's game went just how I thought it would for the Ducks.  We had a really good watch party at work, so it was especially fun.

6.32 miles @ 7:54 steady state pace yesterday afternoon.

QOY:

The Distance - Cake

Where are we running - Lenny Kravitz

How far we've come - Matchbox Twenty

Dog Days are over - Florence and the Machine

Yesterday was shitty.

I did one of the Zuzka HIIT workouts last night and felt better after that.

Today is a better day.  I'm heading to the gym shortly to run on the mill.  woo hoo!

Thanks for the song suggestions (yesterday and today).  I had thought of some of the same ones, but others were new to me so THANKS.

Sorry yesterday was shitty, Big G.  Glad a workout made it better!  I am s.o.r.e. from lifting last night, plus my tookus hurts from running two days in a row (stupid glute!), so today will be an unintended day off.  Date night with Mom tonight.  We're seeing a play.

afternoon gang

nice win by the Ducks yesterday Duck, if only they weren't matched up against Lousiville!

Workout in the garage this morning.  5 sets of 5 deadlift and then 3x of 10 thrusters (just the bar) and 5 pullups...struggled a bit.  I've had a sore back the last few days.  Nothing major just takes longer to warm up.

Anyone else still struggling getting up in the dark or is it just me?

Any fun plans for the weekend?

Heal up quick Kath!

Yah. Pretty much.

Docs were telling bad medical jokes back and forth, so that was funny, but then my one doc (who is always info overload) started talking to other doc about the needles, and how the one is more like bore than a needle.... I had to remind him "I CAN HEAR YOU!!!"

Thanks!!!

Still achy today, but not the fire-ripping-through-me-if-i-move-the-wrong-way type. ha. Getting in/out of the car is still challenging, but... it's getting better. Hopefully this will shrink things up back to normal.

Yes, I've been late every day this week.  If the funeral for my great uncle hadn't been at 11 on Monday, I'd have been late for that too.  Good grief, I hate the stupid time change!

I will be doing finish work and hand sewing on costumes most of the weekend, if you can call that fun.  I am going to a party with the whole choir that sang at the Beck Song Reader concert a few weeks ago. I'm excited because I was so sick the night of the show, I had to go right home after and didn't get to socialize at all.   And I might try to go see Admission on Sun with a friend.

Hello fabulous 30s peeps.

Goon - sorry yesterday sucked.

((((((( Kath and Theia and anyone else with hurty parts ))))))

Duck wish Mila luck for me!  Sounds pretty awesome.  Be sure to get some video.

I too am having a terrible time waking up in the dark.  Partly because this week has been CRAZY busy and I've had a lot of late nights.  Today was great though.  I slept until almost 7 (hallelujah) and worked at home in the am.  Then I ran around 11 am outside.  The sun was shining and it was not freezing (close, but NOT freezing).  Yay.  9.1 at around an 8:45 pace.  Great little way to break up the morning.

Fun for me (an unabashed brag on my kids - sorry) - James hit  high honor roll again (3.9).  Little dude is kicking ass and taking names.  I am so proud of him.  Who would have thought he started out the year not doing homework and getting 60s on tests.  Rock.  Great way to start spring break.

QOD: We have 2 basketball games tonight and I have a date with DH tomorrow night.  Other than that, we are just relaxing and I have a bunch of stuff to get done (blog writing, GOTR stuff, presentation for the state bar, etc.)  No rest for the weary.
