No, that's what happens when no one wants to pony up money to hire the people they promised!! It will all work out, the projects are related. But I just need to keep it all straight, one is work witha joint venture and I can't mention anything about the other stuff to people who aren't directly employed by my company.

And by the way, sounds like a great hockey weekend!!! Love that your son had such a good game, sounds like he is a team leader, getting the crowd into it!! So awesome!

not wanting to offend any Vikes fans, but really glad the Saints won. Having worked with three of the coaches when I was in undergrad (Payton was the QB coach, Kromer was TE coach, and Dalrymple was the strength/conditioning coach) plus the fact that the GM is a Eugene-native, I'm glad to see 'em have that success.

Plus I'm with Lori - tired of all the Favre stuff.

Sounds like some fun weekends!

I think the biggest winners were whoever is televising the Super Bowl this year. There wasn't a really non-desireable matchup to be had no matter who won

Other than the Favre hullabaloo that was going to come of it, I didn't really have a preference between the Saints & the Vikes. And did anyone think like I did that the Jets were doomed to fail when that coin-flip guy called them the NY Giants (no offense to you Giants fans )

NCRG - props to the little guy, even tho' the team came up short in the end

With all the rain we've been having here, it makes sense there'd be a few of these around. But this is a more spectacular shot of this phenomenon than you might usually find

Sorry Brandy and the way the day is going that line has formed over on the left side of the room.

So, we did not close our refinancing. Me and the lawyer got stuck in traffic, because I84 was closed, due to a leaking propane truck. Rescheduled for tomorrow AM.

6 today on the track. The TM is making me kinda slow so I did intervals today. Wow. Hard.

Ohh come on. You guys can't just support us on the board who live in MN and be purple just for one gosh darn day??? Harumph. Sigh.

My family are Saints fans, though so at least they were happy.

However, one thing that DID come to mind: with all the stuff that has happened to New Orleans, this really is something for them to celebrate, so I'm glad for that.

I also was sort of bothered by how violent this game was. Football is one thing, but you aren't trying to kill the guy (on either side). I wonder how many concussions there were and how hurt some of them got?

This is a dream super bowl for folks around here. Colts and former Boiler Brees means most are happy with either win! DD is so confused that both teams are "good guys"

So Vegas was awesome, but I'm way out of the loop. I've been pretty self disciplined and have not attempted to catch up on 10 days worth of threads. My trip summary:
Shows - Love and Terry Fator. Both were excellent
Food - all good, but no standouts to make note of
Flooding - rediculous! Four days of rain caused roads to turn in to rivers!
Gambling - a 4 of a kind on the last night got me close to even. The rest of the week was rough
The conference - not as good as 2003, but worth the trip.

That is all

((30s)) just in case I missed any hug worthy news

Don't believe everything you think
