Ran the Peachtree Road Race at 7:30  this morning along with 59,999 other runners.  Excellent fly over during the National Anthem before the race.  Temps were 74 at the start with 70 plus percent humidity - very warm.  But I really enjoyed it.  Ran the entire distance.  Got sprinked with holy water around mile 2 from the Episcopal Church.  I was in Coral D (4th start wave so we started at 7:45.  I think I finished just barely under an hour.   I forgot my Garmin, but it was fun to run without a watch for a change.

Then ended walking about 3 miles to an after race party and back to the marta station to get back to my car.

As for the tee-shirt this year.  Somewhat ugly IMHO and not the one I voted for.  However, majority rules so it is what it is.  I'll wear it as I earned it.

I raced yesterday too -- DRC Duathlon.

Ran 2, biked 13, ran 2 again.  Ouch.  And then I swam 2,000 yards later in the day.
