Driving rain;15-18 kt winds; roads awash to the point that I really had no  shoulder to run on, forcing me eith down the middle or onto people's lawns ... what a day!!!

Here's the buoy info [had we been at sea]

5-day plot - Wind Direction Wind Direction (WDIR): SE ( 130 deg true )
5-day plot - Wind Speed Wind Speed (WSPD): 23.3 kts
5-day plot - Wind Gust Wind Gust (GST): 27.2 kts
5-day plot - Wave Height Wave Height (WVHT): 7.9 ft
5-day plot - Dominant Wave Period Dominant Wave Period (DPD): 6 sec
5-day plot - Average Period Average Period (APD): 5.1 sec
5-day plot - Atmospheric Pressure Atmospheric Pressure (PRES): 29.78 in
5-day plot - Pressure Tendency Pressure Tendency (PTDY): -0.18 in ( Falling Rapidly )
5-day plot - Air Temperature Air Temperature (ATMP): 51.8 °F
5-day plot - Water Temperature Water Temperature (WTMP): 46.8 °F
5-day plot - Wind Chill Wind Chill (CHILL): 45.0 °F

Sad sighting by the side of the road, however; heartbreaking really. I'm used to seeing deer, possums, raccoons, the occassional fox, beaver or muskrat. But this poor thing was once part of someone's family. The boys and girls probably spent hours and hours playing with him [her?] To just leave a skateboard by the side of the road like that, with two wheels missing ... like I said: heartbreaking

15 minutes Punk Yoga

5 miles Run

10 MORE minutes Punk Yoga [jumping puddles can mess a stride up to the point you may need to re-loosen post-run]

25 Point Team FIVE GUYS

I'll take that Troegenator now

Hee hee!  I'm doing the same thing.  Add 1.25 miles walking for Thursday.

Today:

4.1 miles = 16 points

2000 yard swim = 20 points

8 minutes stretching on the pool deck = 2 points

TOTAL = 38 points for Chick Fil A

Great job Alexis!!!

I'm sure "8 minutes stretching on the pool deck" would have been a lot more if it were outside, sunny, warm and in a predominantly Spanish-speaking locale, with an icy and fruity rum-based beverage nearby

Salt Lake Half Marathon this morning, 2:20.  If you don't count the 8 minutes I had to wait in line for the port-a-john, I ran about what I was aiming for.

13.1 mi run = 52 pts

30 min alt workout = 6 pts

Total 58 pts for team 1

Forgot my race bonus, so that's actually 63 points for team 1.  I can't enter them into the database yet, apparently.

Sheer laziness on my part but I did the treadmill for 7 miles today rather than running outside.   And got 15 min of weights in.

31 points for Team 5 Guys.
