I REALLY wish I could have counted my 150+ points from this past weekend! (32.6 miles of running plus walking, yoga, etc.) Sigh. I should have planned that one better!

I find myself slacking on the stretching and core work now because it's not worth points. {sigh}

I haven't done core work in a week! Jensparks, I moved my long run from Sat. to Thur just for the points :0 that's why I ran in snow and not 70 degree weather.

I am glad we don't have to wait too long for the next round!

BUT .... I am happy for a recovery week here smile.gif

I do make mental notes of my points ... and keep thinking I have to do "X" to get more points ... then I remember I can just do my own training for a little bit and recover before the next round of insanity biggrin.gif

the PRT is not somewhere to drop my morals and ethics and roll in the mud and muck and pretend those I am talking to aren't really people at all and it's alright to treat them like dirt.

Funny, I never thought about having to do "X" amount to fulfill any quota... I was just happy that what little I did was counted for something.

Having to bow out halfway through the last round because of an injury really stunk, even though I had a "proxy" for my points. Now that I'm all healed and back to running again, I'm really chomping at the bit here as well. smile.gif

Please support me in the fight against breast cancer.

smile.gifIf I had an important race I was training for at the time or tapering for I would do things differently ... but in last rounds' case, I could afford to add gobs for the team ... sometimes that'll work and sometimes it won't ...

Glad you are feeling better and ready to kick some training into action banana.gif
