I'm not posting my points yet ... I have a bunch more to earn today ... it's beautiful out so I'm going to walk the puppers ... then go to path and ride my bike for the first time this year ... and then go take advantage of the longer-than-usual adult lap time at the pool tonight ... then I'll add up my cardio and run points with all that other tripe and see what shakes out ....

those sofa kings are really frustrating me ... I want to win this and every time I look they are further ahead sad.gif

the PRT is not somewhere to drop my morals and ethics and roll in the mud and muck and pretend those I am talking to aren't really people at all and it's alright to treat them like dirt.

Ok I am back in the game oficially (and its not raining so I can bike) and I plan to give it a good effort for the next 2 days mostly because I feel responsible for the fact we arent in first place.

Hey all:
Just a reminder that this round ends tomorrow. You have until Sunday, March 8 (end of the day) to get in those points. Rumor has it the next round will run from 3/20-4/20. Keep your eye out for details next week! smile.gif

Yesterday = 11 points

Ask your doctor if getting off your ass is right for you.

just an easy 5 miles for me at lunch.

there is a chance that i will get inspired and run a 100 mile trail run this evening, getting us the 400 points we need to take the lead. however, there is a much bigger chance that i will drink beer while watching junk on television. smile.gif

Wow Sporti - Awesome Sprint to the finish!
What is that 237 points in 2 days? I see you are #3 on the leaderboard - Woo Hoo! banana.gif

Yesterday life conspired to do in my run. sad.gif I was only scheduled for 3, which I was going to do with my students after school, but I got a call from my eye doc asking me to come in... that's always scary.... turned out to be not so bad ... my eye pressure is not good, but I already knew that... I have glaucoma.... they'll have to do a surgery this summer.... I did get in 10 points for other yesterday.

Anyway, now to my finish. I got up and ran 6 miles to school, and then 20 after school and followed that up with a 1 1/2 mile walk - 110 points for running plus my 12 others.... 122 for the day. cool.gif

That puts me 2 spots behind sportigirl on the list. notworthy.gif

We're still 300 behind, however.... Oh well...uhoh2.gif

Hey Alan, are you counting the points for those 12 oz arm curls this evening? biggrin.gif

sorry about your eye surgery ... hopefully it goes well this summer and gets your vision in check smile.gif

I was dog tired the last coupla days ... but I have today and tomorrow to rest up before Sunday's competition ... thank goodness the round ended yesterday cool.gif

cancelled classes in the pool helped me post a bunch of extra points this round ... normally I am guarding during lap swim times and cannot swim ... but I had a couple 2 hour timeslots this month ... plus I was subbing for an extra class the first couple weeks and got in and did that class anyways after she got back a few other days ...

exercising for my paycheck doesn't really make me a lot of money but sometimes it has positive trade-offs ...

Sporti and Rundalel notworthy.gif

Amazing, you two.

In the morning, 1 mile walk, 15 min. stairs, and 30 mins lifting. I was totally exhausted by work, crammin too many miles in the last couple days, and little sleep. I was able to get myself out for 3.25 miles running at a therapeutic pace, with a half hour of stretching and flexibility work, a total of 34 points for the day.

8 more miles was the target, but I would have hurt myself. This sore foot of mine deserves some serious attention, it doesn't get better no matter how much I run on it. icon_scratch.gif

I got in 5 miles yesterday, but we couldn't quite do it.
Had a lot of illness/injury this round but thanks everyone for awesome efforts.

I think we did awesome ... even without the very real illness/injury problems we had we did very well ...

I felt really bad the last round, before Christmas, since I barely got my points up and when I did it was always late ... life gets in everybodies way sometimes ... that's why having a team that's got your back is so cool.gif

I sure hope most of you are on the same team as me again next round! biggrin.gif

I would certainly take my chances with the same team for the next round! To me, the biggest personal benefit was the points for "other." I have never done so much ab work, ankle/knee work, and lots and lots of stretching. I am sure it is helping!

Good job everyone!
