My injury felt a bit worse this morning after running on the treadmill last night and I have noticed my hamstrings are a little tender from all the cycling.

BUT

I felt better by lunchtime so I ran outside, just done 3.2 miles, still not great. I have run the last 2 days without the support or pain killers(5 miles in total) and what I have learned is how much support the belt and drugs give me :¬0

I have a feeling it will be a very painful weekend.

Hey all:
Just a reminder that this round ends tomorrow. You have until Sunday, March 8 (end of the day) to get in those points. Rumor has it the next round will run from 3/20-4/20. Keep your eye out for details next week! smile.gif

Yikes, I've missed a lot. Two full pages!

My brother is still with us - what a trooper. It's been a rough week though.

I did Friday's run again on saturday (another beautiful day for running). Good news = more points. Bad news = I realized it's really 2.5 miles and .25 mile cooldown (I put as 3 miles/.5 cooldown). OOPS! I need to fix that, add in Sat points, put in today's spinning and (hopefully) tomorrow's volleyball. I'll do all that tomorrow afternoon.

Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers guys. It appreciate the support. Good luck to all you injured out there - may you all continue to recover quickly. And Jen - stay off the injured reserves!

ST - Glad your brother is still hanging in there. Enjoy this time.

I had my highest day of points this round today. I guess I am going out with a little bang.

12 mile run this morning followed by 23 miles on the bike at lunch for 83 points.

You can see the details of all my workouts on my Blog.  Happy Training Everyone!  Stay safe out there!

Guys

just wanted to say it has been a pleasure being on your team, hopefully I will keep my end up better next time. Ironically although not better I have run more this week than at any other point in the last 4weeks.

Train well everyone

Thanks to everyone, even though we were plagued with injuries, this was a great team! It's too bad that some of our team mates have kind of been MIA - they're missing out on the fun of the game!

What happened to us? We were competitive for 1/2 of it? Some of you put up tremendous points. Jen - you're one tough competitor. Gobi - great points for being injured. Thanks everyone. Sorry Taggy - you lost again. sad2.gif

I have a question for you all

Which part or the forum should I come and hang out in between VRAA events ?

Gobi - I typically hang out at "the finish line - run and race reports." I tend to browse the multisport forum as well.

I know that feeling ... I'll have 30 miles of running this weekend, and can't count it! The next session I'll have my race, then I'll be in post-marathon mode. I'm going to have to bump down a level I think!
