Howdy all
This is a nice place for everyone to post their daily totals, making it easier for captains to double check the database.. a nice thread, separate from the regular daily threads (but still post points in the daily thread as well, and if you can.. the database yourselves..). This is merely a safeguard.

I did a 4 mile shakeout run, 26:42 - 16 pts
10 minutes of stretching - 2 points

More later after work.

Have a great Independence Day, folks!

Hey Team, have a great holiday today. I got hit like a truck with the flu yesterday so I am not sure I can muster anything but maybe a hotdog point today. Hopefully I will shake this soon.

As far as names...I like the flip the birdie one...but I am up for anything. I haven't seen a "name deadline" as of yet but it is probably better to do it sooner than later.

Ooh, I like "flip the birdie" as a team name too.

I got up early and banged out (ok, ok more like drug out...) 18.25 miles for 73 points. Woo. Tomorrow will be much less spectacular, though.

Get better soon, Birdie!!

I was up early today to watch the Peachtree, but no running yet. I am doing 13 tomorrow, so I will likely take an easy stroll around the hood later this evening.

So far I volunteered at an 8 mile race (I should get VRAA points for that!) and walked 2 miles. But the day's not over! And tomorrow will be a yoga class, then Sunday will be running.

Some members of our team seem to be hardcore runners! Yahoo! That's great news -- I can't run very far but usually do lots of cross training. We need every point! I know that some of the teams are already fast out of the gate.

I may be a bit more of a Superbadass this week as I am on a bike trip.

No matter how slow you run it is still faster than someone sitting on a couch

I ran 6 miles on the 4th. 20 mins at Lactate Threshold pace (7:45) + warmup and cooldown.
15 mins stretching and 2 Nathan's hot dogs consumed.

24 + 3 + 2 = 29 pts

Hey Team! Flip the Birdie is a cute name.

7/4: 1 mile walking/7 miles cycling/1 hour alternate activities for 27 points. I ate a turkey sausage on a hot dog bun, but I don't think that counts.

7/5: 7 miles for 28 points.

I will also post my points in the daily thread & database.

Have faith in you and the things you do.

Flip the Birdie sounds like a good team name to me.

And this icon can be used if you don't want to type out the whole team name:

Just catching up back from vacation.

7/5: 15.7mi bike followed by a 3.5mi run so far today. I'll post in the database later and add some much needed stretching points too. I'll have to go back and look at the FAQ to figure out how many points.

My long run today was 23 miles, so 92 points earned for us today from that.

Edited to add that later I did yoga & stretching for 20 minutes.
