Scroll down to see starter list.

Registration is going well over the past week. Just to make sure everyone is on board, please check in within this thread to confirm your participation.

I've been thinking about how to fairly divide teams. It hasn't been easy. I came up with a simple questionaire. I hope it does not discourage anyone from signing-up.

Don't read too much into it. The purpose of the questionaire is to determine any high volume participants. My intent is to divide them as evenly as possible. I'd hate to see one lopsided team with all high milage and IM triathletes.

Please answer one of the following two questions.

Q1: Do you run over 70 mpw, or total exercise time over 10 hours per week?

Q2: What is your average exercise volume per week?

- 0-3 hours
- 4-7 hours
- 7-9 hours
- over 10 hours per week

Again, please don't make much out of the question. Its a starting point to avoid disparity. Just from lurking here over time, I already have a general idea who the heavy-hitters are.

Aside from this simple factor, the team selection will be by random drawing.

I hope you'll be pleased with your new team.

4-7, but please note that time doesn't equate to the same amount of miles for everyone. I'm really SLOW. 4 hrs isn't even 20 miles for me.

Hours, not miles? Okay, let's see.... probably about 7 hours of running per week.

And I'm in!

Thanks for checking-in. That is the first priority here.

You all are reading too much into the question. I'm just trying to identify any high-volume (10+ hours; or 70mpw) players.

#1 - not yet

#2 - 4-7 -- the upper end almost into the 7-9 category, but not quite...

*Also, I am getting ready to start training for an ultra in the next couple weeks and don't have my schedule from my coach yet - so things might change for me ?!?!?!

/hoping I'm not a huge PITA/

q1 - no
q2 - 0-3, but hoping to use VRAA as incentive to get up into the 4-7 category. smile.gif

Oh, and bugdude will be getting in lots and lots of hours/miles while on vacation. Just make sure we're on separate teams so we can get truly competitive with it. wink.gif

I'm in.

This week I'll be pushing 70, but I'm in the 60-65 mile range.

Higher end of the 7-9 hour range, this week above 10 I think.
