Light day for me today.. 3.1 miles run, 1.9 miles walk and 20 min stretching and crunches

Glad you had fun. banana.gifTomorrow, be a good maniac cool.gif and try and get 2-3 miles easy recovery miles. But, only if you are not sore. Your legs will thank-you for it later in the week. I find that if I get out and loosen up the legs the day after, I recover very quickly. I add a mile or two each day, depending on how I feel. Then I'm able to run a marathon the next week or get back into my training plan. Hope you recovery quickly and are pain free. I want to read a race report. I want all the good and bad.. Inquiring minds want to know. biggrin.gif lol

Got in my gym time yesterday, with the bonus I picked up 17.

Just took a peek, we are about 25 points out of 1st place, way to go team. I will be doing a long(for me) run later today, the rains have finally stopped.

guys I went through the daily threads to make sure all our pts are good, there were a couple errors that I'll adjust. The theme bonus can only be used ONCE a weekend so I'll make sure that we do that right. Also Ky can't count but it's ok I'll help her wink.gif

is the crosstraining cardio? like an elliptical or something? "other" cardio is scored 1 pt every 3 min and then the core/weights/stretching is scored 1 pt every 5 min so you may have more points. Also the walk mile counts the same as run.

So you get 16pts for run/walk miles, then split out the crosstrain and core work and let me know so that we can get you the max points wink.gif

Also this was for March 8th right? did you have any March 7th pts? Btw great to meet you!

Finished with my workout for today. A really nice 16.5 miler, hit the hills really hard both up and down. Although, I enjoy the down much more. Plus 20 miles on the bike. I find that keeping the cadenace 90-95 on the bike it helps with my leg turnover in running.

This next week will be a little more running mileage as I build up again. Monday is normally a rest day, but maybe I'll get a few running miles in along with a short bike ride.

Done for today... 11.5 miles running and 0.25 cool down walk.. then some lower body for 15 minutes and finally 5 points bonus for alt workout.. some 55 points total..

BTW, awesome job Team!! Keep up the good work!!

Mike are you a triathlete as well? you are logging a bunch of mileage/volume, it's nice to see. Great work on the recovery batmomm, I used to live in Raleigh, its sooo nice there.

I ran 15 today and then stretch/stick for 20 mins-64pts

I did OK this weekend 3.25 friday, 8.25 yesterday and 16 miles today all running (except for .5 miles of walking). Next weekend, I'll have my last 20 miler before my taper.

Valley,

I run mostly, then bike some. But, I'm not a triathete. I haven't really swam since I was in high school. A long time ago. Although, I will get into the pool for a swim for the extra points. I think I can make it a few hundred yards. Does it count if you pool run?? lol. I do have a good base to work off of over the past couple of years. I do my normally schedule run (the schedule is done up to 5/4), then I tack on an hour or so of biking. I like to keep the cadence between 90-95. I'll average 70-75 miles per week running at a peak of 4 weeks ending with a three week taper prior to a marathon.

Batmomm - Yakima is just on the eastern side of the Cascade Mountains, about 2.5 hours east of my home. I've pretty much decided not to run it. But to either run Tacoma 5/10 (30 minutes south) or Capital City 5/18 (70 minutes south). So many to choose from. I can wait until the last minute to see how I feel before committing. Also looking at North Olympic Discovery on 6/8.

Mike, have you run Vt City? I did the 2 person relay last year. Absolutely fantastic race!! Super supportive town and volunteers. Enjoy!!

Whoo hooo Valley! really I haven't done much. Seems like everyone has it under control entering things in. The only iffy things were those extra points.

I was really intending on doing something today, but didn't find time, things got hectic with the fam, and I figured the run would take priority.
