Good Morning,
Rest day today! Way to tired and beat up from yesterday's 15 miler to try run today. At least all of today's soreness is normal post run soreness, NO Heel issues. The course had one section where you were mid shin/calf deep in water. That is the first time I have ever run a race there that the trail had any kind of flooding. It was kind of cool. At one point I thought about trying 3 laps just for the heck of it but by the end I was happy to just run 2. I will write a quick summary later this morning.
The Purdue OSU Game as heartbreaking.
the Jag vs Raider Game was just the same. Late lead only to lose in OT. UGH. At least the Saints won.
Have a good day everyone.

Eric,
Sounds like an epic adventure out on that course. No gator-jumping in a swamp tho, eh?
Bootcamp, then out to my former workplace to do three hours of read-alouds to classrooms.
I promised my staff that I'd come out once a month to read to Classrooms.
The first grade team also has me listening to ( and working with ) some of the struggling readers.
Once a month isn't much, but I won't commit to weekly lessons....pretty soon they'd con me into coming 2-3x/week.

After the session, I need run errands to stock up on groceries cuz Troll#1 arrives home on wednesday!!!!
He's only here till Saturday, unfortunately, because he needs to report to Telluride before the end of the month.
Hi Porty,
Nope, no Gators were sighted during the run. Although there are a couple of signs warning you that Gators are in the area.
FB- glad to hear there were no heel issues!
We had a nice time at the amusement park, our neighbor came with us. It was so crowded! But not too long lines. Playground this morning, then probably just hang out and errands the rest of the day. DD was super overtired yesterday so she has been sleeping for an epic amount of time!
Starting to feel human again. It's another beautiful day. I'd like to get out and do at least something but I'm afraid I'll over do it. Still hoping to race this weekend...
Porty, here is the dress I made last week for the wedding... These were taken when we got home, so I'm a bit wrinkled, but you get the idea.
Oh, and this was my first experience with Hollywood tape. It works! Bewbs didn't pop out!
and the back, and Bob... HA! He is a dork.
Auntie Moe is responsible for the spectacular (almost 4" tall!!!!) shoes
Feel better 4BM. Save your energy for the race!

But most of all I love Bob!

Hair question: I'm constantly in search of products for piecey pixie looks. What are you using these days?
very cute dress and i love love love the shoes! I am taking my first sewing class next monday. I feel very limited with my self taughtness that it is time. Can't wait.
