I got back from a nice weekend of visiting my Dad at his house with the family.  It was nice to get away for a little bit.  Tried to visit the Zoo in Columbia SC but after about an hour it STARTED TO POUR!  so we had to give up.  Hopefully next time we head up there we can try again.

Well I guess I should get motivated to work!  HA!

Later.

i saw you went to the zoo too, too bad about the rain though. Our zoo has a lot of indoor stuff so even when it rains, it is not too bad. The indoor stuff includes the bird house, small mammals, rare mammals, primates, reptiles and amphibians.

Glad the visit went well! (other than the rain)
Troll#1 lives/works on the Cape, and mentioned that the weather hadn't been stellar for tourism. Oy.

Short trudge on the TM.
Then vote....it is primary election day (yes, today...oddly enough), do yard and farm chores, pay a pile of bills, workout at the HS later, maybe make a batch of marinara sauce if enough Roma tomatoes are ready. rolleyes.gif

MG,

We tried to wait out the storm by eating lunch a little early but it kept raining and raining and even as we drove home it stayed raining the entire hour it took us to get home.

It rained at Grandma's this morning.  Had to delay my ride home by a couple hours.  I rode up to Grandma's yesterday as a spy mission to see how she was doing since she's now on her own.  She's doing great!  She finishes up OT/PT this week.  She's started getting Meals on Wheels and is quite happy.  So for the time being we've avoided the assisted care issue.  Right back at it when I got home.  Sons 2&3 needed hair cuts.  Work this evening.  PT tomorrow morning, work in the afternoon.  Still need to get caught up from being gone most of last week.
