Good Morning,

I have to get an early run in today since Mrs. Boiler has to be at work by 8.

I am hoping to hear back from my new job today to confirm that I passed the drug test and background check.  I am also hoping to hear back from the tree service about the free wood chips today also.

Other than that not much is planned for me today.

Morning.

Slept like a rock last night.  After 'sudafed-night' the night before and a 9+ mi run yesterday, I was beat.

Nothing planned for today other than HHH!  Sorry Porty, but the storms will hit us sometime today and most likely reach you in less than 24 hrs.

BUT...it will usher in lots of dry air so our temp on Wednesday will be nearer to 80 instead of mid 90's like today.

Good morning. Zoe and I slept really well last night. I have not slept that well in ages. It was glorious. Hoping for a run before work today. Our storms are coming Thursday. The weather for the weekend looks nice, for a change.

I actually watched the local news last night for the first time in ages.  They are calling for highs near 98 all week and heat indexes near 104.  Times like this I wish I had a pool!

I don't know. I need at least 2 to 3 yards of it, but if all they do is drop a truckload I will use it all!  If I don't hear from them by lunch time today I will call them back.

Good morning!

Mr jebba is out of town.  I always find it a little harder to sleep well when he's gone.

Ask your doctor if getting off your ass is right for you.

Bee Queen!! We've missed you! ♥

todd,

last night we slept with the a/c off...big mistake...the humidity and temps never dropped as the weathergeeks had promised

I'm sure that is why I slept horribly + had a screamer of a headache [which still won't go away]

eric,

I usually order 3-6 yards of shredded bark every year.  My flowerbeds thank me.

We haven't used the AC in several years.  As long as you keep fans going it's not too bad.  Its 88* outside, 81* inside.  I'm done with housework for now, will work on homework/nap the rest of the afternoon.  Then, a bit more housework this evening.

We have cooling success with the furnace blower running + keeping the house closed up.

The a/c runs much less frequently, and the house stays nice 'n' cool. [We set it at 78*]

Last nite, however, it was NASTY and sticky with the furnace blower off, windows open...only the ceiling fan running.

FWIW, we only use ceiling fans in rooms where we're currently sitting or sleeping.

[running ceiling fans cools the skin, not the air...I've had a lot of work convincing DH to NOT run the ceiling fan if he isn't in the room.]

Our A/C is set at 78 during the day and a bit cooler at night.

FWIW...ceiling fans cost maybe a few pennies a day to run.

Check here.
