First four hours of today's road trip were on icy Iowa highways.
We saw no less than 100 semis, trailers, cars, trucks, etc etc etc in ditches. Spinoffs, flip-overs, and PILES OF TWISTED STEEL (wink, nudge) from the horrible black ice and whiteout that happened on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Thought about playing "spin off bingo", but decided that the situation was serious for all involved....probably tragic for some.


Speaking of Sirius: we have Sirius radio in our rental suv. Sweet! Listened to 60s-90s hits for ten hours.
