I suppose 5k's could be counted as speedwork.

In which case, I guess I do speedwork.

I've been doing most on the dreadmill this winter and like that for the reason you list ... but I like to be able to do it at the track or bikepath (1/2 mile markers) to see if my internal pacing is working

that said .. in spite of a lack of much running, period, the last month I pulled within 1 minute of my PR for the 5k this morning ... so I'm happy with that!

the PRT is not somewhere to drop my morals and ethics and roll in the mud and muck and pretend those I am talking to aren't really people at all and it's alright to treat them like dirt.

I won't lie .. I heard him but didn't see him .. I didn't look too carefully ... he always gives a pep talk for the 5k to the Pump and Run and he did this year .. but I was to busy getting rid of my warm clothes to look for him

I like doing repeats...1-2 mile repeats instead of tempo runs personally. Its easier on my body.

Do you remember my chocolate cake? Yeah, I made it today and just had a small piece. I forgot how rich it is! There's quite a bit left and I'm willing to share.

I didn't run off. I am just working 48 plus hour weeks, with an hour drive there and back. No time to post!

Trust me, I have PLENTY to write about!
