I taped the Sugar Bowl, hoping to watch an exciting-competitive second half.
*meh*
Just went down and rewound the tape, put it back on the shelf...no need to watch after seeing the yawning results.

What is this "tape" you speak of?

I suspected Florida would be roaring with something to prove, but you just never can tell in those games.

All of Canada will stop for the epic NCAA game of the century here in Toronto....Northern Illinois and South Florida...or was it Northern Florida and South Illinois?

They get 35K to 40K fans when it's teams whose fans can have an easy drive to Toronto, but I'm just guessing the roads from Tampa won't be cluttered with SFU fans.

I think the stands will be packed with Torontonians eager to get their fix of live football.

The uh so called Champion of the Big East looked like they would slot in nicely in the SEC somewhere between Mississippi State and Vanderbilt based on how they played last night. Hmm...I just remember Mississippi State took Florida right down to the wire. By contrast, Cincy had 3 points and 45 yards of offence at halftime. Interesting...don't you think?

No.

Clearly Cincinnati was not in the same class as Florida.

But I do think they were/are a top 10 team.

Can I just say that I had an awesome time at my game today. I went with my best friend, his sister's husband, and his wife's father.

We spent the time arguing about who we thought was Combine worthy.
We also invented a game called "How many of the players..." and it went with predicting how many of the players on both teams...
1) Never left the US before the game. (our guesses averaged 70 of the 100 odd players)
2) Will never leave the US again after they return home. (40)
3) Will join the Military after graduating (4)
4) Will join the Marine Corp specifically (2)
5) Will go to Law School (12)
6) Will pass the bar after Law school (7)
7) Will go to Business School for an MBA (15)
Will become city cops, state troopers, or Fed LOIs (3)
9) Will sell Real Estate (25)
10) Will get a DUI inside of 15 years (50)
