I hadn't seen that one ... it was before I started posting at KR ... thanks!

the PRT is not somewhere to drop my morals and ethics and roll in the mud and muck and pretend those I am talking to aren't really people at all and it's alright to treat them like dirt.

Ha!
Exactly what I needed to see!

A group of us are heading out via sailboat tomorrow morning to run a couple of the Gulf islands.
There is a heavy rainfall warning (but the temps are quite comfortable). While I don't mind running in a deluge, it's the sitting around on the deck of the boat for several hours each way that's gonna be a bit much.
Probably the better part of 14 hours.
So yes.....I'll just have to VTFU.

Thanks roots for reminding me.

Hopefully a bit of Voo will be with me tomorrow at the Bay State. The latest forecast is saying rain with temps around 40, and 20 MPH headwinds during mile 1-8 and 13-18.

Here is the forecast

Supposed to be bright and sunny with light winds for the Toronto Marathon tomorrow.

...and about 10 degrees below normal.

However if 48F or 9C is the perfect temp for distance running then there's one more excuse I won't be able to use.

This thread was originally directed to the crew at the Bay State Marathon, but very cool Muddy and anyone else who will channel Joey tomorrow.

Indeed, good luck to EQ (and JenSparks, Vogel too). Looks like rainy 40F temps will provide the opportunity to Voo it up.

Great blast from the past Roots. I'll channel Voo on my 20+ miler in the rain tomorrow morning.
