Poet Damon Lloyd Goffe is suing Oprah for 1.2 trillion claiming she plagurized his poem. I wonder how hard it was to find a lawyer to take the case?

For that kind of money I assume the opening line isn't: "There once was a man from Nantucket."

Interestingly, I am quoting yelp.com who is quoting NBC who is quoting perezhilton.com who is quoting the National Inquirer.

I like this comment on the site:

How the **** did Oprah manage to sell 650 million copies of a poem at $20 a pop? I mean, she could sell dog poop to a Great Dane, but that's a lot of units to move right there. I think the dude got confused and thinks Sham-Wow (only 19.95!) = his poem about his soul.

But wait!!!!!

Call in the next 20 minutes and we will double the number of poems you get and knock one full payment off.

BTW, did you hear Billy Mays autopsy showed the coke in his system sure wasn't Coke Zero?

If I were Oprah (and also guilty) I'd insist on paying with $20 dollar bills.
