I will get back in the routine tomorrow. Visiting my Dad for 5 days sort of messed me up.

I hear you. My father had a stroke this weekend and my wife is rehabbing from knee replacement surgery.

well, got my 3 miles in today. Did my ab work yesterday. Used the lat pull bar to do some weighted crunches with. OH MY GOD that worked

I did abs yesterday after my run! Whooo!
I'm seeing a lot of definition due to fixing my diet, climbing, and running, but I NEED to do more core-specific training. Yesterday was my first ab workout in about six months.

Get some better quality stuff to eat after your ab workouts, while you're in the mood to be healthy. You can slowly rehab your feeding times, replacing crap with goodness, working out from there.

I survived quite a day of workout. There have been a few nagging injuries holding me back lately. Just finished school and got a couple good nights sleep and seems I'm indestructible again.
Upper body workout at FedEx.
2 core workouts
10k with a serious hill climb. Kept my core engaged and felt much more solid than I have on a run in a long time.

Still no pushups or pullups due to a sprained wrist. Being consistent with ab workouts is helping my running, no pain this week. Less strength imbalance and tightness in my right leg. Short runs every other day, need some hour plus workouts to peel the fat off.
