Yahoo! I did it! I finally got the nerve to run my first 1/2 and it was awesome! I finished in 2:28, which isn't smokin' fast, but hey...it was much better than I thought I'd do! Not bad for someone who was 96 pounds heavier 5 years ago!
My toes started cramping a bit somewhere between mile 10 and 11...any suggestions to prevent that next time?
This was the inaugural Zooma Women's 1/2 Marathon in Atlanta yesterday. I loved the course! What a great city! I'd never been through downtown. I was so impressed!
