I was camping all last week and got re-introduced to oatmeal as the main breakfast food source. I'd forgotten how good a hot spoonful tasted, especially slathered in brown sugar and a little milk!

I eat oatmeal for breakfast pretty much every day. Nothing beats it...its hot, quick, cheap, and healthy. Add a few raisins and some brown sugar and I am good to go.

As long as the only time you bathe in oatmeal is when you get poison ivy, then I won't think oddly of you.

I had oatmeal with raisins and brown sugar for breakfast today ... first time since last winter that I ate it ... what a co-inky-dink!

the PRT is not somewhere to drop my morals and ethics and roll in the mud and muck and pretend those I am talking to aren't really people at all and it's alright to treat them like dirt.

Seriously? Plain? Do you do steel cut, instant, or something else?

my fave is steel cut oats with peanut butter and a scoop of protein powder. That fills me up forever and starts me off well for meeting my nutrient goals.

Mmmm......oatmeal and peanut butter. I'm a convert.

Aphi posted a recipe a while back for some mighty tasty oatmeal, I think it had pumpkin in it and I forget what else. It's prolly in the recipe section but it looked killah!

Yabut, you know how old people get cranky after spending the day on the toilet.

Well, not from personal experience or anything, I'm sure.....
