What do you think about this?

The guest room right now is lime green. It was the previous owners' sons' room. Right now, the room is the guest room, but we hope in the future it would be the nursery.

I'm thinking about painting it a sunny orange on one wall, and a lighter yellow-orange on the other three. I figure it would be bright and cheerful and could be appropriate in the future for children of either gender.

A very light brown-a Tan/Beige color and chocolate accented linens on the bed.

I like the bright sunny colors. I assume they would be more muted shades, not the super bright ones?

When my sister was a baby, her room had a red wall, an orange one and a yellow one. The fourth wall had a fabric wallcovering. I remember loving it. That was over 30 years ago and I can still see the room in my mind.

But I like color. We have an orange-y bathroom.

I tend to like cooler soothing colors for bedrooms, like blues and greens. My room here is chocolate brown, and I like it, but sometimes I miss the blue.

I used to have a sunny yellow living room. That was cool.

Lintu,
Our home is FILLED with color from Ralph Lauren and Behr.
Very rich, welcoming, happy....love 'em all!

two bedrooms are variants of sage greens, one bedroom is in a pale chocolate [called devonshire]

the tv room and sunroom are variations of southwestern sunrises and terra cotta

the kitchen/halls are another creamy pale pale chocolate called cottonwood

the livingroom has 3 walls in thunder bay [darker than cottonwood], and one wall in a green river rock

On Wisconsin!
