Okay, so I'm a little disorganized, but I'm not normally anywhere near this bad.

Today, I made DH a lunch, called him to tell him I'd be up in a few minutes... put it in the car to drop off on my way to the gym. Forgot. Went to the gym worked out-- where I was out of reach for two hours. When I got to my phone, he was headed out with a coworker to go look for me because I scared him. sad.gif

Then, I just was going to pick him up from work (we share a single car). I went up... battery is dead. I left the lights on earlier. Yes, my car has that buzzing noise that goes off if you open the door with the lights on. Apparently I didn't notice.
Now DH has to walk home in the rain. And there's thunder/lightening. I offered to walk up with an umbrella but he didn't think that I should do that.

WTF is wrong with me? sad2.gif Disorganized means I spend an extra minute looking for my keys before I leave... not that I do all this stuff... especially not all at once.
I'd be pissed at me if I was DH. uhoh2.gif I feel so so so bad!

You have pregnancy brain drain. It lasts about nine months and is followed by baby brain drain which lasts for about eighteen years.

yes the baby is sucking up all of the oxygen. It's completely normal and expected of you. No one believes you until they get pregnant.

DH isn't pissed at me. He just said these things happen and not to worry about it. I'm still pissed at me, though.

Read this guy's books while you still can biggrin.gif

Antonio Damasio, focussing on importance of the body and emotions to your intellect. Good writer, entertaining and informative. Probably chock-full of excuses for your poor brain while it's signed on for this creating life gig.

If you define cowardice as running away at the first sign of danger, screaming and tripping and begging for mercy, then yes, Mr. Brave man, I guess I'm a coward. - Jack Handy

Yes, it is true about the pregnancy brain. I swear you give the baby part of your brain cells when pregnantsad.gif One thing is you know it is a normal thing and may get your memory backsmile.gif
