There is no doubt that he was sincere in asking her to come home. I think they are a Misery Loves Company type of couple. I hope they can change things. As far as Bob's knee socks, i thought they were compression socks or something. Buddy was really funny with the first lady.
As for Chris, the mayo, and the peanut butter, maybe she did think to do that herself, but I would also imagine that she was egged on. I mean, if she's going to eat, I can imagine her just going "all out". She and her husband are indeed train wrecks, I agree.
I believe that almost nothing on this show happens by chance anymore.
Mark is close to having a "normal" BMI, if that means anything. So is Kim. Actually, Kim is closer. Very difficult to lose weight for them. And also difficult for them to win, if you go by total over all percentage of weight loss too.
Jeremy and Buddy have the biggest chance to win because they were bigger to begin with. They need to pick a better mix of contestants specifically for this reason. They need to pick a bunch of people that are all a similar weight, or, rather, pick a bunch of people that if they all get to their goal weight (which, say, is doable in the 20 weeks or so that they do this), that they can all achieve a similar percentage of weight loss. Because, otherwise, it's not fair. (Not that fair has anything to do with this show.)
Otherwise, you get, as in seasons past, people who are proper weight, and you get a winner who is still seriously overweight.
Mark's normal BMI would be at 179 pounds. He is at 196 now. I just checked. Kim *IS* at a normal BMI. And losing more weight could be unhealthy (although she could probably lose 20 more pounds and still be considered "healthy").
