A-line orthotics and pain

So, I got tested for A-line's at an expo the other day. They said one leg was out of wack and it could be causing me back pain, they nailed it. However, I have used them a few times, yesterday being the longest run, and today I have HUGE knee pain on the point of my knee on the "good" leg. I did run Sunday 2.5 and 3.0 yesterday, so I'm not sure what it is, but I definitely feel out of line when wearing them on one foot. The question is, can I run with one of them? should I? Should I scrap them and get my money back 30 day guarantee.

I should mention I had bad calf pain a while back and my new sneakers seemed to help, I was wearing the wrong type.

Thanks.

Not A-lines, but I was prescribed custom orthotics for a foot problem and shortly afterward came up with significant knee pain on the "good leg". I've abandoned the orthos, but the pain persists. Maybe the temporal connection was more coincidental than causal. All I know is I ain't runnin for over 2 months.

I went for a ride last night and it seems better. Tomorrow is my first run, I'm thinking of bailing on them, and either returning them or who knows..

I thought you were supposed to ease into orthotics before wearing them for your runs (wear them around the house and then for shorter runs, etc)...at least thats what I was told.

I did wear them a bit, and then went for acouple of runs. I would assume some "discomfort" but no Pain. Ran without them tonight and felt fine.. Going to ask for my $ back.
