Pros: Very roomy toe box, nice snug fit in heel, lightweight, Great new foam cushioning give this shoe an awesome feel
Cons: I think since the toe box is a little bigger, it would have been better to step down a 1/2 size, but no problems other than that.
“ I've been running in the Addiction for at least 10 years. They're the perfect shoe for me.” --HappyFeat
“ I absolutely love this shoe. I have owned this shoe for about 4 months and run at least once a week in it. I have just ordered a second pair. The shoe is extremely light and comfortable. I have run a half-marathon in this shoe and would wear it for a marathon with no problems. I hesitate to buy this shoe because of my bad knees but I have had absolutely no...” --Boyerdavea
“ Best running shoe I have owned to date. Mizuno redesigned this model and used a new foam... The ride is a lot like the Elixer, which I loved, but didn't love me (ITB). Try out this shoe!! ” --BigBuckSnort
“ The Green Silence is a really fun shoe to race in. It's got a minimalist design not unlike the Nike Free but still has a very nice ride. The environmental dimension - it's made from mostly recycled materials - adds a definite coolness factor as well especially for someone like me who is strongly committed to environmental issues and reducing my own personal impact on the earth. Still though I...” --CMJHawk86
“Local running store suggested these to me to replace my Elixers which seemed to aid in messing up my IT band. I use these shoes for speedwork and short distance races (5Ks mainly). I really like the fit and the styling of these shoes. I think I liked the ride the Elixers gave me a bit better, but I have had to IT issues since changing to these. ” --BigBuckSnort
“ Just got into trail running, and this is my first pair of trail shoes. I was shocked at how they felt basically just like my regular running shoes. They actually have a good feel on asphalt also, as I have ran to the trails on roads with these shoes. First time I wore them it was raining and they held up great, no slips. ” --BigBuckSnort
“Local running store suggested these shoes after injuring my IT band. Did not like them at first, felt very heavy. Gave it a couple weeks and I like them ok now. I use these for my long and easy runs. Great cushioning. ” --BigBuckSnort
“ I decided to try the Trail Attack after being disappointed by the much higher rated Brooks Cascadia. I used the new shoes right out of the box for a 7 miler and they felt great - perfect fit in the heel and midfoot with just the right amount of room for the toes in front. A few days later I did an 11.5 mile trail run on a very challenging trail and not once did I think about my shoes how my...” --CMJHawk86
