Good morning!

Friday is finally here!

I'm supposed to have a rest day today but I'm swapping that until tomorrow. I'm working tomorrow and then driving down to the Cape right after so won't have time to sneak in a nap.

Andi, you must be dying for this day to be over! Hope you have a great vacation!

Sisu, that HM on the 3rd will be a nice warm up for Baystate!

Hey Paul!  Are you going to the Cape for fun?  It looks like we are supposed to have perfect weather for most of the weekend and I hope you guys do, too!  I'm not sure if I'll be able to do that HM on the 3rd after all.  Dh is riding in a 100mi bike event on that day here in Maine.  Not sure how I could swing it with the kids but I'm gonna try!

I think I ran a little over 7mi this morning.  It was perfect running weather - low 50s when I left the house.  Tomorrow I have a 2hr long run and it looks like the weather is going to be just as nice.  :)

Ron - Happy Belated Birthay to your 11yr old! I'm right there with you. Mine turned 11 in March. It's the most bizzare feeling watching these little girls turn into young ladies. :-) Mine comes back from her first overnight camp ever today and I can't wait to see her and give her a great big hug! :-)

Hi Sisu! Yes, we're going down to meet up with another couple and just do some chillin' and drinking! Hope you can swing it for the half, but if not I'll let you know how it went. I think the marathon will be a go for me next year.

Susan nice run.  Running for time sounds more relaxing to me.  I like it!!

cho - my 11yo went on an over night campy last week with Jennifer's dd12.  It was a church camp and they had a great time.  Neither one of them shower for 3 nights.  Yikes.

Ron - running for time works well for me.  I don't stress out about hitting a certain mileage and I just head out with my watch and turn around at the halfway point time-wise.  My longest run for this marathon training plan will be 3hrs.  

Paul - have fun this weekend!  Sounds like a good time.  I'm definitely going to put that NH marathon in my plans for next fall. 

hi guys!  Long day at champs but oh so worth it.  Ty didn't swim his best but had a blast and Calvin KILLED it!  He didn't even qualify to get there but shaved over 20 seconds off his time and almost hit the silver times today.  And that's with a kid in his heat doing a false start so our coach had to jump in and grab Calvin.  About scared him to death LOL.  He walked away with the heat ribbon and $1 from his coach

Tommorow heading out on my friends boat w/ a bunch of girlfriends for drinks a trip to p-town for lunch and sunbathing :) can't wait.
