I'd set up a Masters Team if there are enough participants to make balanced teams. You may have to recruit from other forums as well.

How many do you need per team? I'll go begging and pleading.

Gobi says he will play if we have a Master's team so that's one more for us.

What's the age for a Master's team?

I'm in the over 50 crowd, so I can be on one, but I don't really see why it makes any difference.

I'm a badass, by the way.

Mega Badass for me. Thanks!

You don't have to be on the Master's Team just because you fall into that age bracket.   If you want to be on the Master's Team let me know!!

I know, I just don't quite understand the appeal.

It's not so much an age, it's the Master's forum members that want to play together.

So, there could be a PRT team, an ultra team, a 30's team etc.

Even though I primarily post in the Master's Forum, I'm with rugby, I don't care what team I'm on.  Whatever works best and is easiest for you BigG!

FYI: I am likely going to be w/o internet until Aug. 9 so when the teams are picked and the round starts I'll be incommunicado.  I'll sign in and post my points as soon as I get back.

How about we let BigG assign the teams the way Sparky showed her for her first time out as Commish, then y'all can monkey with it next time???

Don't overwhelm her with changes right off the bat

I have no problem with any team I'm on.

By the way, I took the day off to work on my deck...and, instead, this morning, rode 19 miles.  I know that's chicken feed for you bike types, but, for me, my butts gonna be real sore tomorrow...

I've been away from this for a while.  Need some motivation to knock my August training out of the park.

I'm in Mega.

Maybe in the future we could have a VRAA with the forums against each other.  Masters vs Multi vs 30s vs PRT.  could be fun, sorta the "World Series VRAA"

I'm in ... and have posted occassionally in Masters ... am a Master ... and have met quite a few Masters in Beantown this spring ...

I have my 8 hour race on the 14th and will be tapering and recovering for much of this round ... I may recover well like I did at Mohican and hope that's the case so I will still sign on as TITANIUM and do my best to live up to that for whatever team I am placed  :-)

I stink at captain .. so no this time  ..

the PRT is not somewhere to drop my morals and ethics and roll in the mud and muck and pretend those I am talking to aren't really people at all and it's alright to treat them like dirt.

Agreed.  The commish has a hard enough job figuring out how to balance the teams to keep it competitive so she doesn't need it to be any more complicated.

I'm in.  Now that my back and hip are better I've finally put together a few weeks of solid mileage.  I'll be a middlin' mega badass.  I don't do captains (unless they're real good lookin').   :D

Hey Big Gahooie, why don't we make this round end on Monday Labor Day Sept. 6th?  I work on Saturdays and do my long runs on Sunday.  Plus some people may be racing that holiday weekend so it can be a big exciting points finale.

Hmmm,  there is a 10k in Marietta that I have been trying not to run (it's a hard uphill race).  But if we end the round on Labor Day I would have to run the darn thing.

if gobi is on your team you'll have to have 3-4 less players than the other teams!  :-P
